During the week I exhibit at different venues in West Hawaii. Please check out this page to see where I’m going to be if you’re on island and would like to make a purchase in person. Click Here to see my schedule.
This beautiful hand carved Red Abalone heart necklace is a design that I recently started to carve. It represents and open heart. Click here to see photos.
I’ve been working with Walrus bone and really love the look and feel of it. I’m carving Hawaiian style circle hooks out of it now. Check these 3 photos of a hook I recently carved.
My friend Joe Trent built this site for me and maintains it. If you have any problems checking out through Paypal, please let us know so we can fix the problem right away.
In the future I will be posting here from time to time about new products that I’m producing.
Mahalo for stopping by,
If you’re looking for a hawaiian fish hook necklace, there are many choices such as Koa, Abalone, Wood, Deer Antler or Bone. I carve necklaces in all of these types of materials.
Some of these you can wear anywhere, the Abalone can be worn swimming if you wanted too for example. The wood hooks I’d be careful not to go swimming with.
One of the cool things about a Hawaiian fish hook necklace is if you don’t live in Hawaii chances are pretty good you’ll be the only one in your circle of friends who has one.
One of my favorite necklaces to create is the Maori fish hook necklace, it was one of the very first styles that I started to carve and has a totally different appearance than most of other hooks that you commonly see in Hawaii. No two are the same due to changes in the bone from one necklace to the next.
